Dear ACCESS, You know what a big fan your teachers are of essays! Writing is one of the most important things you can do to better yourself in a foreign language. Also these essays will be posted in the yearbook! How cool! Therefore, over the March break you will be asked to write two essays on the following topics: 1. People we met: Talk about the interview with Mr. Rick Yoneoka. Write about: what questions were asked, what you liked, what you didn't like, what you found cool and not so cool or whatever else you find important to talk about... 2. Class on Feb 8th: Even in the Consulate titled: "The Race Whisperer: Barack Obama and the Political Uses of Race." Write about the content of the event- what was talked about- did you find it stupid, interesting, or just ok? How did you leave the event? What were you feeling etc. Essays are due on March 17th via email no later than 00:59. I you will get these back on March 25th at the Saturday outing at the Amerikazent

March 3-17: Spring Break Wednesday, March 22nd - Class with Ms. Thomas Saturday March 25th: Saturday outing with Ms. Swanson at the Amerikazentrum from 10-2.
